Nick was born in 1949 and his family moved to Oaksey in 1957 where they have remained. After School, he joined the Army in 1968 and was commissioned into the Royal Green Jackets. He served for 37 years, retiring in 2005. He served all over the world, including Rhodesia/Zimbabwe, Germany, Falkland Islands, Northern Ireland (for a total of 10 years) and Gibraltar. He was also a senior instructor at the Royal Navy Staff College at Greenwich and in his final post he was responsible for the recruiting of soldiers for the British Infantry throughout the whole of the UK.
He is involved in many Village activities and is Chairman of the Playing Field Trust, Trustee of the Village Hall and Chairman of the PCC. He has been Churchwarden since 2002.
He is divorced with 3 grown up sons. His interests include fly fishing and cricket.

Jerry was born in 1953 and moved to Oaksey with his wife Jackie in 2009 having previously lived in Kent and is originally from Yorkshire. In 1972, he left his home town of York to join NatWest Bank in London.
During a career spanning 31 years, he worked all over London, predominantly in the City & West End. Following the takeover of NatWest Bank in 2000 by Royal Bank of Scotland, he worked as a Business Project Manager on a 3 year project to rationalise the computer systems in both Banks. In 2003 after the project was completed, he took voluntary early retirement.
In 2005, he joined Her Majesty's Courts and Tribunals Service as a part time Court Usher at Maidstone Crown Court. Following their house move in 2009, he transferred to Bristol Crown Court working there for 2 years and then to Swindon Crown Court until his retirement in 2016.
As well as being PCC Secretary, he is Treasurer of Oaksey Youth Club & Membership Secretary of the Mallard Flyfishers syndicate.
His interests include fly fishing, sports and computing.
