Crudwell map v3 r copy

The name of the village originates from Creoda’s Well (or spring), Creoda being a sixth century king of Mercia. Spreading out from either side of the A429, itself an old turnpike road, the village boasts two hotels, several pubs, a post office and the Norman church. The village dates from approximately the 9th century
